Ejercicio, superficies duras, Speeder_A_2016
This was a one week exercise, the idea was to force the use of n-gons(faces with more than four sides) and see how far can a go before errors appear.
Environment HDRI by = Greg Zaal http://adaptivesamples.com
High res --> Ver aquí / See Here
In the next image we can see some artifacts on the sides of the model in the blue area.
This is due to the segment`s borders were not perfectly align on the plane and that made weird edges that breaks the reflection, this is lot more noticeable if the reflection has not a bit of glossiness

Why didn't i fix it? Would'n be easy to fix by flattening the faces? Because the model accomplish its objective, i was able to drive a mid complex model to a point were it fails. This is something that can be use as a reference, something to be consider into future projects were to visualice the results keeping in mind the technique that its going to be used to get it.

Tutorial, Ajustar camara para renders isométricos - Set up camera for isometric renders
Open a blender

Go top view, press 7 on the numeric bloc and then rotate the camera 45º
Select the camera and press R > type 45 > Intro
Rotate the camera on its X axis.
Select the camera press R> X > X >type 45 > Intro

At the camera properties panel, choose the middle option, orthographic
At the camera properties panel, choose the middle option, orthographic
At the 3DView header, activate snap incremental.
Now we need to pull the camera away to avoid cutting the object.
Select the camera, G > Z> Z> move > Intro

At last, adjust the Orthographic scale factor at the camera properties, adjust render size and done!.
We have set up an isometric camera.

Chip holder, arm
This was a robotic arm that i modeled and rendered for a museum presentation but it was sadly remove from the video due to time and resources constraints.
